“I wanted to feel like I was properly participating in my own life again.”
Carmen, Founder of Herdle
The Story Behind Herdle
Life gets bigger when it’s shared.
Herdle started with a pretty simple idea. Life’s more fun when you’ve got people to share it with.
After going through a separation, Herdle founder Carmen found herself wanting to get out more, try new things and meet new people. But she quickly discovered that making friends as an adult isn’t always that easy.
And the more she talked to others, the more she realised she wasn’t alone.
People move away. Friendships change. Everyone gets busy with work, kids and life. Sometimes you just want someone to grab a coffee with, go to a concert, try a new restaurant or do something a bit different.
And sometimes you’ve got plenty of friends, but they’re not always into the same things you are.
Carmen had been thinking about an app like Herdle for years. Something that would make it easier to meet people naturally, by actually getting out and doing things together.
So instead of starting with profiles and endless messages, Herdle starts with plans.
A beach picnic, a coffee catch-up, a quiz night, a weekend adventure or something you’ve always wanted to try but haven’t wanted to do alone.
Find a plan you like and join in, or create one yourself and see who comes along.
Maybe you’ll make a new friend. Maybe you’ll find a whole group of people who enjoy the same things you do. Or maybe you’ll just have a really great afternoon.
And that’s kind of the point.
Because there’s so much to do out there, and life’s too short to keep waiting for someone else to be free.
Make plans. Make friends. Make more of life.
